Reporting directly to the President, the Stop Loss Sales Representative is responsible for the successful sale of KRMA’s Medical Stop Loss products through select TPA and broker relationships nationwide. This role requires travel and a proactive approach to relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
· Achieve assigned new premium sales targets and maintain block-of-business persistency (renewal) goals
· Source new Medical Stop Loss TPA and broker partnerships.
· On-going development of existing Medical Stop Loss TPA and broker Partnerships
· Adhere to established Medical Stop Loss underwriting guidelines to secure profitable high-quality business.
· Provide exceptional service to Medical Stop Loss policyholders, TPAs, and brokers to ensure long-term satisfaction
· Other duties as assigned by Management to support KRMA’s mission.
· Travel is Required
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· Bachelor's Degree.
· Minimum of 3 years previous Medical Stop Loss successful sales experience, or equivalent marketing underwriting experience with an MGU or Medical Stop Loss carrier.
· Life Accident & Health agent license is preferred.
· Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills.
· Proven ability to network and manage complex professional relationships.
· Driven, self-motivated, and a consultative problem-solver.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
